This is first time I’ve wanted a pair of Vans since the Pack came out with their ode to the canvas shoe about four years ago. (Click the link to reminisce.) The brand worked on an unexpected collaboration with Crayola. Yes, the makers of your favorite childhood crayons!!!
Take a minute and absorb that adorableness.
They literally look like a little kid scribbled all over the canvas upper of the shoe, and they come in a few vibrant colorways, including purple, red and blue.
I need these in my life.

Look for these at the beginning of 2010. Vans will be releasing a variation on the saddle shoe for women, called “The Sophie.”They come in either leather or canvas, and in a few different colorways.
They remind me of those Urban Outfitters-grandpa shoes every one has been wearing, but with the cutesy innocence of a saddle shoe.
I was torn about them at first, but the more I look, the more I like.

What could be more natural than Supreme and Vans working together?
This Half Cab has a classic, blue-and-white checkerboard pattern all along the upper half of the shoe, a solid, white sole and a contrasting red lining along the inside.

Soon.
In the meantime, stop drooling all over your keyboard. Saliva corrodes the keys.

In fact, their motto “A Crime for All Seasons” is etched into the sole of the Hadley Zipper Sneaker right around the toe.
The other pair of shoes, the Sophie Strap Flats, are covered in glittery gold, with cutouts and a silver strap around the front of …

Inspired by the clothing American railroad workers wore during the times of steam engines, Van’s new Shaffer’s Crossing Collection for their Vault campaign is more than retro. Named after one of Norfolk & Western Railroad’s old Virginia train stations, the shoes incorporate the plaid and tweed patterns worn by the workers along with leather and pig suede.
The shoes are set to release in six different styles this September.

Vans are stepping their game all the way up this season, as well. The brand that seemed to take over the world after the California-born group, The Pack released its 2006 ode to their shoes, has is releasing a fall collection that looks different, but stylish and comfortable.
Combining the original look of their slip-ons along with some new concepts, like fur-lining and wicker bottoms, the Vans Surf Fall Collection is worth looking into.
