I’ve said it once. I’ve said it a million times. A good name can make anything pop. Guns & Crayons is a growing streetwear brand based in Phoenix, Arizona (pray for them, ya’ll), that I fell in love with the second I heard their name. Created by childhood friends, Thomas and Keith in 2008, and truly launched at the beginning of this year, Guns & Crayons pulls off a blend of high fashion and streetwear in a way that I haven’t really seen before. I like. You’ll like. Get to …

Parenthood’s (some show on NBC. I don’t have time to watch TV these days so ya’ll know better than I do what that show is about) Joy Bryant and Erika Christensen are both posing in the second issue of The Hundreds Magazine. Despite the fact that I haven’t actually seen the show, I love Joy Bryant and she looks too cute in these outtakes from their shoot.

The second set of Spring 2010 tees from The Hundreds will be in stores this week.
Here’s their rundown of their latest delivery:
“The selection includes: Artifacts, which features an array of retro audio formats; Biffs, inspired by one of our favorite ’80s movies; Ensemble, which gathers all The Hundreds characters to date; Tri-Di, for some real 3D logo action; Lisa, guest artist Steve Nazar takes inspiration from “Weird Science”; and last but not least, we Revolve around science like Ghostface Killah.”

Last week I had the pleasure of traveling out to Frederickburg, VA to interview the guys of Agio Life, a developing lifestyle brand out of northern Virginia. OK, well, the journey wasn’t a pleasure…I’ve become way too acquainted with the intricacies of riding the Virginia Railway Express, a very Amtrak-like experience that a lot of VA residents take everyday. Couldn’t. Be. Me.
But my interview with Craig Gross, Tyler Moore and Jason Prince of Agio Life was well worth the trip. After deciding to start their brand just three years ago, …

18-year-old Grant Tucker is a freshman at the University of Houston. Like most college students, he is becoming familiar with allnighters and caffiene. However, Tucker is juggling more than just English papers and math labs.
A few years ago, he and his bestfriend, Monray Penny, were inspired to start up their own clothing line, 32 Clothing. Unfortunately, troubles with corporate America–the “Man,” if you will–stunted the growth of 32 Clothing before their dreams could fully take shape.
Bouncing back from that initial disappointment, Tucker and Penny began Simply Complicated Apparel, and a …

New ish from the Hundreds’ Fall 2009 men’s collection.
It’s a lot of simple, but clean pieces: hoodies, that damn plaid, graphic tees, knit caps, fitteds-all complete with the Hundreds’ logo.
The t-shirt on the thumb is a personal favorite.
It’ll all be available on their online store in due time. Stalk their site until then.

As promised, I went down to Major last night to get a peek at the 26” PK Ripper BMX Bike designed by The Hundreds and SE Bikes. Classic stuff by the Hundreds, and other Major merchandise, was on sale, and everybody knew it. You couldn’t walk three feet in Georgetown last night without spotting someone carrying a Major bag.
But, I digress. Here are all of the pictures I was able to snap. Check out how I got all artistic with my homegirl’s Casio. Thanks again, Krissypoo!
Fun times.
