Beyonce x Lady Gaga On the Set of “Telephone”

While I’m on the topic of the Grammys, here are a pics of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé on the set of their new video “Telephone.”

“Video Phone” was way too hyped-up, in my opinion. It took a very long time for it to grow on me, but Beyoncé has this innate ability to come out with something I hate the first few hundred times I see/hear it, and then on 301, I’m it’s biggest fan.
Speaking with Beyoncè, she did me proud at the VMAs. Who do you know that can perform “You Oughta …

How Much Skin is Too Much? (The Amber Rose Edition)

A few days ago, one of my sisters emailed me a recent picture of Amber Rose (who officially needs no Kanye-related introduction) dressed in an incredibly skimpy dress.

This feels like about the millionth time that one of Amber Rose’s skimpy outfits has the Internet buzzing. She wore this “dress” to the Junya Watanabe Men’s Fall 2010 fashion show.
Despite the nude catsuit that she wore beneath the barely-there dress, many people are incredibly offended by her look. They’ve been giving her picture the stank face similar to the one that’s seen …

Vines and Soft Addictions

While in search of the Real World DC house (don’t ask…boredom is the work of the devil) I got a chance to flex my picture-taking muscles. I’m looking more like a pre-spinach Popeye than a true photographer right now, but baby steps are steps all the same.
Take a look at these and let me know what you think. Progress is a slow process.

After the Meeting, but Before the Show…

Ever noticed the way that people get fly just to watch a fashion show? It’s a dangerous game. If you actually look good, then cool. A hand clap and two cookies for you. However, if you show up to an event looking a hot mess, but everyone knows that you think that you look good…well, then we all feel compelled to enjoy a few mean-spirited jokes at your expense.
And when I say a few, I mean about 43– give or take a few.
Anyways, my 25 Mag family (www.25mag.com!) was kind …

YARDFEST: Howard University Homecoming

I’ve touched on the fact that my school is obsessed with fashionin the past, but for those of you who didn’t believe me–I got somethin’ fo’ dat azz!
Sorry, I’ve just always wanted to see that in print…
Anywho, the Howard population is known for using any excuse (first day of classes/homecoming festivities/the first sunny day in weeks/Wednesday) to get all prettied up. And although I’ve ranted and raved about the missteps that people make when they attempt to “stunt on these (expletive here),” I must admit that quite a few people …

Just Cute for No Reason :)

Check out my homies India and Stacy looking too cute for words in their little blazers. They were tryna get chose on this particular evening. LOL.
We were headed to our homecoming comedy show to cover the event for 25 Magazine (pics from the comedy show will be up there soon! Lil’ Duval showed up in all his micro-mini cuteness).
Pairing preppy blazers with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans seems to be the move lately, and both of them pulled it off adorably well. India, looked cute in her blue …

Adventures up New York Ave.

I’ve called DC my part-time home for about a a year and a half now, and in that time, I’ve gotten lost stranded outside of a club, had a snowball fight on a football field, voted in the most historic presidential election since Washington was making decisions, and bought my first pair of boots.
It’s been eventful. And that doesn’t look like it’s gonna change any time soon. Just this weekend, my friends and I took a trek through Northeast in search of my friends’ little brother’s hotel. Oh, and it was …

No Left Turn

Yesterday, my friend and I (hey, Kemdi!) took a walk around DC. And when I say “around DC,” I mean we pretty much walked from Adams Morgan to the White House. No joke. My feet still aren’t speaking to me.
Anyway, it was a really pretty day, and I just invested in a new camera to better illuminate your lives with my creativity–don’t look at me like that, you know you love me–I snapped a few pictures while I was out. People were staring at us like we were the weirdest …
