I started today knowing nothing about this chick named BoA (which stands for Beat of Angel – cute) and now, I’m a fan. I, along with the rest of the R&B-loving world was more than excited to hear that Alicia Keys and Beyoncé teamed up on a track, but now that I’ve seen pics from the video shoot of “Put It On a Love Song,” I’m even more excited about the clothes than the song.
They’re wearing designs from the line, Boxing Kitten by designer, Maya A. Lake. Her entire line is handmade with Ankara fabrics from West Africa.

Due to my mother’s love for premium cable and many days stuck in this house without a car before I return to DC (where everything is Metro-accessible), music videos have been a good escape.
Just thought I’d share one of my faves. It’s “Take On Me” by Norwegian pop band, A-ha. It was released in 1985 and is still one of the most creative videos I’ve ever seen. Just something I feel that everyone should know in order to be a complete person.

I’ve been meaning to post this for awhile now. One of my most frequent—and most vocal—readers, Mal, hasn’t seen it yet and I’m dying to hear what ya’ll think.
Omarion has dedicated this video to the late Michael Jackson, and I hate to say that I’m not feeling it all that much…seems like I’ve seen it before, and didn’t really like it the first time.
