8-year-old, San Francisco-based footwear, streetwear and skateboarding brand, HUF recently released their Fall/Winter 2010 lookbook. It’s the brand’s first collection that incorporates footwear and streetwear. While the plaids, hoodies, footwear and jackets displayed in this lookbook appear to be classic and well made, the photography is truly eye-catching.
It looks like they just documented a chill day skating with the boys, but that’s what works for HUF. Their audience wants clothes they can look effortlessly cool in. This lookbook is that concept personified.
My favorite pieces have to be that crewneck sweatshirt …

I first fell in love with Miss Wax Jewelry a little over a year ago, so I was more than excited when I spotted their Fall 2010 lookbook on a few other blogs today. Even if you’re not particularly fond of accessories, the way this lookbook is presented is something to be enjoyed. It’s full of bright colors, stylish clothes and eye-catching poses.
In case any of the pieces make your card-swiping hand start to itch, click here to head over to their website. Definitely plenty of good stuff to brighten up …

The good thing about writing this blog is that I’ve gotten exposed to all kinds of new people, blogs and fashion lines. The bad thing about this blog is that it has agitated my long-dead shopping addiction. I now have to force myself not to buy half of the things I post about.
Exhibit A – Miss Wax Jewelry. I’ve been a fan of their stuff since I posted their collaboration with Hellz Bellz last Fall, and now that I’ve seen their Spring 2010 look book, I’m even more in love.
Their …

Just saw the look book for 10.Deep’s Spring 2010 Collection. It’s entitled, “Never Ran, Never Will,” and includes graphic tees, 10.Deep’s recent collaboration with Timberland, hats and outerwear.
From the folks over at 10.Deep -
“This Spring, we continue our exploration of American dis-establishment via an homage to the malcontents who tossed up a middle finger to the establishment when the status quo was not in the peoples best interest. Motivated by both the symbols of statehood and those that rebelled against them, the collection is as much about the regal positioning …

I posted a preview of the February 2010 look book from Zara awhile back, and here’s the look book in its entirety.
This just isn’t right. It’s like the people at Zara read my mind and created everything I’ve been searching for fruitlessly for the past few months.
It is not fair to me, or my bank account for them to produce this much hotness for a single month.
Forget you, Zara. You have it out for me, and I don’t appreciate it in the least.
I don’t know about you, by my pockets …

The after-holidays slump has hit us all hard. Taking down my Christmas tree and boxing up the leftover wrapping paper almost broke my heart, but now we can look forward to spring. Judging by the previews and lookbooks I’ve seen, Spring 2010 will be the death of my bank account as I shop excessively.
The Spring 2010 lookbook from American Apparel is no different. I’m usually not this into their stuff, but something about the way these photos are shot has me dying to swipe my card until that ish won’t …

Kanye is sneaking out of self-induced hiding, and I can breathe freely again. I love this man for his music, passion, and incredibly correct—yet, horribly executed—outbursts. But most of all I love his style.
The folks over at Bathing Ape seem to agree. Kanye’s teamed up with them again by posing for their Spring 2010 lookbook. This round of Bape offerings consists of varsity jackets, tees, belts, trousers, and a Baby Milo hoodie that takes me back to 12th grade.
Anybody from Atlanta will know exactly which hoodie I’m referring to.
Personally, I …

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to sit down with a couple of the guys over at Durkl for an interview.
If you haven’t read it yet, correct your error immediately, por favor.
I showed a little preview of their Holiday 2009 offering, and their lookbook hit the world wide web today. Take a look.
Follow my pretty, little hyperlink to check out the rest of their lookbook.

10.Deep’s lookbook for the second delivery of their fall collection recently hit the web, and it looks promising.
Named “The Outsiders,” it is the follow-up to their first delivery, “Proud to Be a Problem.” A blend of streetwear and outdoorsy pieces, the look of “The Outsiders” draws inspiration from both nineties sportswear and traditional patterns, such as plaid. The lumberjack-esque, button-downs, ski vests and “The Rat Race is Over” tee are all worth a second look.
The actual photography from “The Outsiders” lookbook is cool, as well. It carries on the theme of the …
