Ring Arthur by Monserat De Lucca

Adorable and unique jewelry can brighten a dreary day, even one as ugly as this one. Last night, I was perusing one of my favorite shopping sites, ModCloth, and I came across a ring they’d dubbed the “Ring Arthur”.
The ring, which is made by an accessories company out of California called Monserat De Lucca, is made of polished brass and looks like a knight’s helmet. The ventail (that grill-looking piece that sits over the mouth) even moves!
Scroll down for a better look.

It’s available over at ModCloth for about $60. I’m …

Hellz Bellz x Baby G Watches

I’m not really into to labels. Partly because I don’t like to look like a walking advertisement for this brand or that brand, and also because these days I’m what most people would consider “broke”. So I tend to avoid falling head over heels with clothing lines. However, I just can’t help myself with Hellz Bellz. Firstly, as a writer, I love a good name. Second, they just come out with good products. For example, Hellz Bellz’s 80′s-inspired collaboration with Baby G watches is perfection. It comes in two different …

Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 Accessories

Alexander McQueen’s death was truly a loss to the fashion industry. The man was an artist. The shoes and bags from his Fall 2010 collection are simply amazing. Full of details, well-made and just over-the-top enough to grab your attention without being overwhelming.
Despite the fact that I usually prefer to invest in simpler items, I am dying over that Faithful bootie with the golden angel wing embroidered up the side, and those silver platforms on the thumb. *Swoon*

Miss Wax Spring 2010 “A Tribute to Summer Thrills” Look book

The good thing about writing this blog is that I’ve gotten exposed to all kinds of new people, blogs and fashion lines. The bad thing about this blog is that it has agitated my long-dead shopping addiction. I now have to force myself not to buy half of the things I post about.
Exhibit A – Miss Wax Jewelry. I’ve been a fan of their stuff since I posted their collaboration with Hellz Bellz last Fall, and now that I’ve seen their Spring 2010 look book, I’m even more in love.
Their …

Casio G-Shock Hyper Colors Watches

Truth be told, the tomboy in me has been thirsty for a G-Shock ever since I saw this purple one at my summer job last year. Unfortunately, some man bought it before I had time to gather my coins, but my luck is changing.
Casio will be releasing a collection of their GA-110 models in vibrant, neon colors.
Amazingly enough, the bright colors aren’t too much….

Complex’s “15 Best Bracelets for Spring 2010″

Complex recently compiled a list of the 15 Best Bracelets for Spring 2010. It mainly consists of beaded and woven bracelets, and they all fall in the $14-$225 price range.
Here are my five favorites. The majority of them are a little too pricey for me, but a girl can dream….
I can’t decide if that green beaded bracelet from Simmons Jewelry Co. is my favorite, or if I’m going to start saving my pennies to buy that brown wrap bracelet from Marc Bernstein…

Make sure you visit Complex to see the rest …

Nogoy “Statement Belts”

A well-chosen belt can turn a bag of a dress into an ensemble, spice up a bland outfit and even transform a shirt into a dress. I’ve seen it done.
But a belt that makes a “statement?” Instant diva.
London-based designer, May Nogoy’s statement belts do just that. There is so much art and detail placed in a single belt…wow.

Her pieces have been featured everywhere from Vogue to Elle to Harper’s Bazaar, and are notoriously fly. Prices aren’t up on the pieces, but judging by the quality material and intricate designs, they’re …
