Saw this bag over at Little Red Book, and had to share it with the rest of the class. This striped leather bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs is the first normal-sized bag I’ve feigned over in a while. It’s made of colorful cotton and trimmed in tan leather with gold accents. It’s rich, deep fall colors and a cute shape have put it on my wishlist…too bad it’s priced at $260. Which isn’t bad, considering that you can get a lot of use out of a bag like this one. I’m already daydreaming about pairing it with some of my go-to sweaters and riding boots…

Side note: Their site is pretty cool. They make outfit suggestions by matching each item on their site with other pieces they have available. Admittedly, a lot of online shopping sites do this, but they actually did it well. The outfit they suggested was wearable, not just a mashing up of other pricey pieces to get shoppers to spend a much as possible. That’s commendable.
