Origami Purse by Itay Laniado

I’ve been stumbling upon random coolness all week. This Origami purse by Isreali designer, Itay Laniado reminds me of the paper pouches we used to make back in elementary school. Except, while Laniado’s clutch looks and feels like paper, it’s actually made of Tyvek®, a much stronger, lightweight material. Tyvek® has been used on construction sites and to make car covers. It can also be used to make envelopes, medical packaging and protective gear.

The clutch has a little yellow tab on the front, and it’s zipper is sewn on the inside. It’s cute, different and best of all, affordable. You can get it over at Etsy for $29. Finally, a reasonable price.
