There’s something about Pharrell‘s voice that you can’t help but love. N.E.R.D. debuted their new song on David Letterman last night. The song, which was produced by Daft Punk, is called “Hypnotize You” and is destined to be on my Top 25 Most Played list. Their album, Nothing has had it’s release date pushed back, so I’m not 100% on when it’s supposed to drop. What I do know is that I will be taking my behind down to my neighborhood record store to purchase said album.

Everything looks better in slow motion. The French techno band, Dancing Pigeons just released their video for “Ritalin“, and although I never heard their music before, this video is enough to make me a fan. It centers around a duel between two truck-driving, mullet-having, suspenders-loving men who battle it out with a flame thrower and a fire extinguisher. According to the director, Tomas Mankovsky, they weren’t sure how the whole thing would turn out before they started shooting. Luckily, in slow motion, the clashing of the two has a very cool effect.

Apparently, Wayne really is working on the Carter IV from Rikers. Drake recently did an interview with MTV for their “Mixtape Daily” series (which those of us who have MTV Jams are familiar with), and told his interviewer that Lil’ Wayne let him hear two new verses he’d written from behind bars. According to Drake, the bars Wayne let him hear are good enough to make him want to find a new career path. The Young Money softie seemed to be really excited about Wayne’s work.
